The report shows that the top 10 international shipping centers in 2022 are: Singapore, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Dubai, Rotterdam, Hamburg, New York-New Jersey, Athens-Breevs, Ningbo Zhoushan. It is reported that this is the successful consolidation and maintained this position after Ningbo Zhoushan first ranked among the top ten of the International Shipping Center last year.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Ningbo Port Office, the development index of the Xinhua Baltic International Shipping Center includes three first -level indicators: port conditions, shipping services and comprehensive environment.

The unique port conditions have supported the busy production operations of Ningbo Zhoushan Port under the epidemic, which is the biggest "bonus item". Last year, Ningbo Zhoushan Port ’s annual cargo throughput exceeded 1.2 billion tons for the first time, ranking the largest port in the world for 13 consecutive years; the annual container throughput exceeded 30 million standard boxes for the first time, ranking third in the world. As of the end of June, the total number of container routes in the port has reached 300, a record high. Compared with 2014 and 2021, the number of container routes of the “Belt and Road” container in Zhoushan Port Ningbo increased by more than 40, the number of annual flights increased by more than 1,000, and the annual box volume increased by nearly 4 million boxes.

Especially since the epidemic of new crown pneumonia, Ningbo has forged the "hard core" power of the port in the city, effectively overcome the influence of the epidemic, and effectively guarantee the smooth flow of port logistics. Compared with early 2020, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has accumulated 56 new routes and 61 prefecture -level cities in 16 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) of the sea train trains, and added 11 prefecture -level cities.

In the first half of this year, although affected by the epidemic, the progress of the construction project of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port Wharf did not slow down. The Plaza 1 berth in Shangang District was completed and opened. The berth of the container terminal at No. 6 to 8 of Meishan Port District was approved to be temporarily opened to the public. box……

In terms of comprehensive environment, Ningbo actively enhances government transparency and continuously optimizes the business convenience index. Last year, Ningbo Zhoushan Port tried the operating models such as "direct installation of Hong Kong" and "direct shipbuilding", which greatly improved the rotation speed and efficiency of import and export goods. Among the 4th China Quality Awards list announced in September last year, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Co., Ltd. was on the list, becoming the first China Quality Award won by the port industry in China. At present, Ningbo is building a benchmark city in the national port business environment.

Shipping services that used to be one of the shortcomings have also been significantly improved in the past two years. In June this year, the world's first ship online trading platform, the Zhejiang Shipping Market, "Ship Ship.com" Ningbo Center officially launched operations. In the first half of the year, the Zhejiang Shipping Market had completed a total of $ 150 million in import and export agency of ships, involving Indonesia, Panama, Singapore and other countries and regions. At present, the city has basically formed an industrial pattern supplemented by port government affairs, shipping logistics, shipping finance, shipping trading, shipping information, shipping brokerage, and ship management supplemented by shipping high -end industries.

Experts believe that the "two -wheeled" driver, excellent port conditions, and high -quality shipping services in the development of port hub construction and shipping service industry are important reasons for Ningbo Zhoushan to continue to rank in the top ten international shipping centers.
