For more than 20 years, bonded logistics and general trade between Guangdong and Hong Kong have developed rapidly. According to customs data, from 1997 to 2021, Guangdong's imports and exports to Hong Kong increased from 4.83 billion yuan to 281.64 billion yuan by bonded logistics, accounting for the proportion of Guangdong and Hong Kong trade from 1.7%to 24.2%, with an average annual growth rate of 18.5% Essence At the same time, the general growth and export of trade between the two places increased rapidly from 81.69 billion yuan to 299.88 billion yuan, an average annual increase of 5.6%.

From 1997 to 2021, the import and export of private enterprises became an important driving force in the Guangdong -Hong Kong trade at an average annual growth rate of 18.1%, and the proportion of the Guangdong -Hong Kong trade in the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Hong Kong trade increased from 3.2%to 42%. During the same period, the import and export of foreign -invested enterprises maintained an average annual growth rate of 6.8%, occupying an important position in the Guangdong -Hong Kong trade trade.

In terms of transportation methods, from 1997 to 2021, Guangdong -Hong Kong Trade maintained an average annual growth rate of 7.6%in imports and exports by road transportation, accounting for 66.1%to 92.6%. Transportation has become the first choice channel for import and export logistics in Guangdong.

In terms of commodity structure, Guangdong's exports to Hong Kong are mainly based on traditional labor -intensive products such as clothing and toys, and to the main transformation of electromechanical products with relatively high added value. From 1997 to 2021, Guangdong's exports to Hong Kong's electromechanical products increased at an average annual rate of 11.2%, accounting for 30.1%to 82.1%. During the same period, Guangdong's exports to high -tech products in Hong Kong increased significantly, with an average annual increase of 17.2%, accounting for 6.6%to 63%.

Tang Bing, an intermediate statistician of the Guangdong Branch of the Customs Department, said that since the return of Hong Kong to the motherland, the economic and trade exchanges between Guangdong and Hong Kong have been closer, the trade growth rate has accelerated significantly.
