At present, a total of 11 billion cubic meters of coal seam gas has been mined, which has played an important role in ensuring the safety of coal mines and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

China's coalbed methane geological resources are second only to Russia and the United States, ranking third in the world. Shanxi Province's coalbed methane resources are one of the most abundant regions in the country with the most abundant coalbed methane resources, accounting for about 1/3 of the country. Qinshui Basin's coalbed methane reserves accounted for 2/3 of Shanxi Province, and the large -scale development prospects were broad. The coal seams produced by Qinshui Coal Sea Gas Fields can meet the demand for some people's livelihood gas in Henan, Shanxi, and Beijing -Tianjin -Hebei through the access to the national backbone push pipeline network, the LNG export, and local sales. In the next three years, the annual output of the Qinshui coal seam gas field of North China Oilfield is expected to reach more than 3 billion cubic meters.
