The reporter learned from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Agricultural and Rural Mechanization Development Center that as of now, Xinjiang's agricultural machinery has a total power of 24.668 million kilowatts, and the level of crop comprehensive mechanization has reached 85.48%, ranking among the forefront of the country. Especially as the representative product of China's smart agricultural machinery, the plant protection drone has a rapid growth trend in Xinjiang.

As the main cotton producing area in my country, more than 37 million acres of cotton fields provide a broad space for the application of plant protection drones. In the north and south of Tianshan, drones are large -scale in the production of crops such as cotton and wheat in Xinjiang. The reporter learned in an interview with Tacheng, Aksu and other places that compared with the traditional tractor spraying medicine, the plant protection drone operation has the advantages of simple, efficient, and precise. Since entering Xinjiang farmland around 2016 It is the favor of cotton farmers.

With the widespread application of this new type of intelligent agricultural machinery, some new occupations, including plant protection drone "flying hands", have also begun to appear. In recent years, a large number of "post -90s" young people in China have entered farmland through operating plant protection drones and participated in agricultural production in depth.

Since 2012, Xinjiang has won a total of 7.491 billion yuan in national agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, and 464,100 units (sets) of various types of agricultural machinery equipment for purchasing subsidies have benefited from 312,000 households. At present, Xinjiang's comprehensive mechanization level of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing is 70.59%. Among them, the level of crop comprehensive mechanization reached 85.48%, ranking leading in the country.
