From June 24th, some lines of Wuhan Metro have major adjustments

Wuhan Evening News, June 23 (Reporter Tao Changning Correspondent Li Dan Zhang Ke) Since June, Wuhan rail transit line network passenger flow has rebounded significantly. Among them, the passenger volume of the working days has reached about 3.4 million times.In order to better meet the needs of citizens and passengers, Wuhan Metro will optimize the adjustment of the transportation organization of Line 6 and Line 2 on June 24 (Friday), increase the number of online trains, and further reduce the interval.

After the implementation of the capacity improvement plan, the minimum interval of rail transit Line 6 was reduced to 5.3 minutes, and the capacity increased by more than 10%; the minimum interval between Rail Transit Line 2 was reduced to 2.7 minutes on Friday.

In the future, the Wuhan Metro will continue to strengthen the monitoring of the network passenger flow and capacity matching situation, dynamically adjust the operating map, accurately put forward capacity, and continuously improve the travel experience of citizens.
