Facing the tragic situation of being hollowed out, Sun Baoqiang not only did not give up, but borrowed money to rebuild Hainan's corn breeding base.

For more than ten years of cold exploration, Sun Baoqiang was as persistent and moved forward, and gradually accumulated the six major products of corn and more than 3,000 self -friendship systems, which made him enter the "free kingdom" of corn breeding. In 2014, the new corn varieties cultivated by the traditional Chinese corn products selected by Sun Baoqiang came out of 0924 and 1518, and received unanimous praise from the corn experts in the trial planting.

Among them, 1518 corn varieties should be eaten both fresh and can be processed into glutinous food, brewing, etc. In 2015, the 3751 corn variety he cultivated is a superior variety of deep -processed edible types. It has good taste of cakes and porridge. It is unique in many domestic corn varieties in China. The 8084 corn varieties cultivated in 2016 have many planting advantages such as disease resistance, waterlogging, wind resistance, and insect resistance. While the yield has reached more than 1,400 catties, it is a new variety of high -yield feed processing corn varieties. The new "Sweet and Glutinous" glutinous corn breed cultivated in 2020 has become an excellent variety of fresh corn with soft glutinous sweetness and excellent taste. It is especially valuable that these new corn varieties cultivated by Sun Baoqiang have the characteristics of large -scale latitude and longitude span and wide regional, and provide a broad market for the promotion of corn varieties.
