Shangcheng Consumer Finance CIO qualifications are approved, and the net profit of 50 million yuan in the first half of 2022

On September 26, the Shanghai Banking Regulatory Bureau issued an announcement information showing that Wang Zhehao became the chief information officer of Shanghai Shangcheng Consumer Finance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shangcheng Consumer Finance").

Public information shows that Shangcheng Consumer Finance was established by Bank of Shanghai, Ctrip Group, Boyu Capital, and Sequoia Capital. It was approved by the Banking Regulatory Commission on November 17, 2016, and officially registered for industrial and commercial registration on August 17, 2017. According to the financial report, in the first half of 2022, Shangcheng's net profit recorded a net profit of 50 million yuan, which was 22 million yuan in the same period last year. As of the end of June this year, the total assets of Shangcheng's funding were 11.959 billion yuan, a decrease of 6.03%from the end of 2021.

In terms of administrative penalties, Shangcheng Consumer Finance violated Article 46 (5) of the Bank of the People's Republic of China on June 30, and Article 42 of the "Interim Measures for the Management of Personal Loan Management" ( 8) Item, as of June 2020, the company's online personal loan business debt repayment capacity review has seriously violated the rules of prudential business; as of June 2020, the company's online personal loan business has not effectively identified the customer identity in accordance with regulations.
