In order to support the development of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area and optimize the circulation of logistics in the Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen Customs Innovation launched the "Greater Bay Area Increase Port" model. Since the "Huiyan Group Port" in Shenzhen Guan District in 2019, the port port project has begun. In three years, this new model has gradually expanded to port ports in the Greater Bay Area to create a more efficient and convenient bay area maritime logistics channel. In 2022, the "Greater Bay Area Group Port" added 8 new lines, with an entrance and export throughput of 153,000 tanks, an increase of about 2.3 times year -on -year. Since its implementation in 2019, 23 lines have been opened, and the import and export throughput has reached 270,000 standard boxes.

The Pearl River Delta brings together many manufacturing enterprises, such as Foshan Shunde Su has the title of "Chinese home appliance capital". Midea and Hisense are all set up in this factory. There are many, but in the process of "going global" in these companies, due to the restrictions such as the deep water network and bridge of the Pearl River Delta water network, large international freighters cannot stop, and they can only be transported to the Shenzhen port area through the barge.

Shenzhen Customs actively visited the dock enterprises, shipping companies, local traffic management departments and cargo owners, in -depth investigations and understanding of the entire process of waterway transfer, and conducted business seminars with the customs directly under the Greater Bay Area. "The concept can not only complete the formalities in one place, but also adopt a more free connection method. This idea explores the possibility of a new overall development of ports, which can avoid the construction of duplicate port infrastructure and realize the complementary resources, information sharing, and smooth flow of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area ports. Upgrade, thereby enhancing the innovation of the overall competitiveness of the port group in the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area.

In October 2019, Shenzhen Customs took the lead in exploring the "Huiyan Group Port" project in Yantian Port and Huizhou Port in Guan District. Taking Yantian Port as the hub and Huizhou Port as a branch, extend the "stacking" of Yantian Port to Huizhou Port. Based on the functional combination, complementary advantages, and port cooperation, the combination of the "two ports" type is realized, and the overall dock resources and administrative supervision forces are used to improve efficiency and reduce the logistics costs of import and export goods.

According to Yantian International Wharf, the overall logistics cost of enterprises is reduced by an average of 10%to 20%under the "Huiyan Port" model. At the same time, the port enterprise said that the "Greater Bay Area Port" model can form a route agglomeration effect, promote the optimization of trains company routes, and reduce multi -point hanging operations. A liner reduces a port, which can save about 50,000 yuan each time.

On the basis of trials in the customs area, Shenzhen Customs and other brothers directly under the customs, with Shenzhen Merchants Western Port as the hub port, and the small container pier in the Pearl River Basin as the port port.
