On June 15, the Shanghai Banking Regulatory Bureau issued a notification on the situation of banking consumption complaints in 2021. The report shows that in 2021, there were 73,569 consumer complaints in Shanghai, of which 64,293 were held in Shanghai's licensed credit card center, accounting for 87.39%of the total complaints.

Data show that the number of complaints for the credit card center of Industrial Bank is as high as 1,2506, accounting for 19.45%of the total complaints of the Shanghai licensed credit card center, ranking first on the list of complaints. Merchants Bank and Bank of Communications Credit Card Center also have more than 10,000 complaints.

Divided by the reasons for the complaint, the collection and credit recruitment are the most, a total of 23,402, accounting for 36.2%of the credit card business complaint; followed by payables, a total of 14,673, accounting for 22.7%of the credit card business complaint. Among them, the credit card collection and credit card centers of the Bank of Communications Credit Card Center, Industrial Bank Credit Card Center, and China Merchants Bank Credit Card Center ranks among the top three.

The report also shows that the median complaints of Shanghai non -silver institutions in 2021 were 15.5. Among them, the number of complaints is: 1964 BOC consumer finance, accounting for 59.41%of the total complaints of non -bank institutions; 468 Anxin Trust, accounting for 14.16%; 161 Ping An Consumer Finance, accounting for 4.87%.
