Ecological governance and protection projects along the Silk Road are approved by the Asian Bank Council

On September 9, 2022, the Asian Development Bank (hereinafter referred to as the Asian Bank) Council approved the ecological governance and protection project along the Silk Road.The total investment of the project is about 326 million euros, of which the Asian Bank provides about 196 million euros sovereign loans, and the local government supporting funds are about 130 million euros.The Asian loan period is 25 years, including 6 years of width limit.The project aims to promote comprehensive governance and restoration of the Silk Road in Gansu, Qinghai, Shaanxi, etc., improve the natural environment, and strengthen ecological toughness.
