Xiamen's monthly export value to the BRICS countries exceeds 10 billion

According to the statistics of Xiamen Customs, in the first eight months of this year, the total value of the city's import and export to the city was 59.39 billion yuan, an increase of 26.2%year -on -year, accounting for 9.8%of the city's total foreign trade import and export value in the same period. It is worth mentioning that in August, the city's monthly export value to the BRICS countries exceeded the 10 billion yuan mark for the first time, reaching 11.55 billion yuan, an increase of 56.3%year -on -year, of which exports reached 3.11 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 50.9%. Imports were imported. It reached 8.44 billion yuan, an increase of 58.4%year -on -year.

According to reports, the city has the following characteristics to the import and export of BRICS countries: it has maintained a rapid growth of imports and exports to Russia, South Africa, and Brazil. In the first eight months, the city's imports and exports to Russia, South Africa, and Brazil were imported and exported to 1,892 billion yuan, and 18.92 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 48.5%, 33.7%, and 20.6%year -on -year.

The proportion of state -owned enterprises has the highest proportion of imports and exports. In the first eight months, the import and export of state -owned enterprises in our city reached 33.81 billion yuan to the BRICS countries, an increase of 32.3%year -on -year, accounting for 56.9%of the total value of the city's total import and export of BRICS during the same period. Brick countries import and export of 20.92 billion yuan and 4.66 billion yuan.

In terms of imported goods, metal ore and mineral sand, agricultural products, coal and lignite are the main imported products. In terms of export products, it is mainly electromechanical products and labor -intensive products.
