Ministry of Commerce: From January to August, 892.74 billion yuan in foreign investment increased by 16.4% year-on-year

According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, from January to August 2022, the actual amount of foreign investment in the country was 892.74 billion yuan, an increase of 16.4%(the same below) by comparable caliber, an increase of 138.41 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 20.2%.

From the perspective of the industry, the actual amount of foreign investment in the service industry was 662.13 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7%.The actual use of foreign investment in high -tech industries increased by 33.6%, of which high -tech manufacturing increased by 43.1%, and the high -tech service industry increased by 31%.

From the source, South Korea, Germany, Japan, and Britain actually increased investment in China by 58.9%, 30.3%, 26.8%, and 17.2%(including investment data through free ports).

From the perspective of regional distribution, the actual use of foreign investment in eastern, central, and western regions of my country increased by 14.3%, 27.6%, and 43%, respectively.
