Ministry of Finance: In August this year, the increase in tax revenue in China

Yesterday (July 16), the Ministry of Finance released the operation of my country's fiscal revenue and expenditure in the first eight months of this year. In fiscal revenue, tax revenue accounts for more than 80%. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, in August, the increase in tax revenue in the country has achieved negative to positive.

Data show that in the first eight months, the national tax revenue was 11324.9 billion yuan, a year -on -year decrease of 12.6%, and the increase of 1.1%after deducting the retained tax refund factor. Among them, in August, the national tax revenue increased by 0.6%, achieving negative to positive, and after deducting the retained tax refund factor, it increased by 5.5%year -on -year.

From the perspective of the main tax type, in the first eight months, the increase in domestic value -added tax continued to rise, and domestic consumption tax, corporate income tax, and personal income tax have increased to varying degrees. The export tax refund has refunded 207.8 billion yuan over the same period last year, an increase of 18.2%, which has effectively promoted the steady development of foreign trade exports.

It is worth noting that vehicle purchase tax has decreased significantly, exceeding 30%. Among them, from June 1st, some passenger cars were reduced by half of the purchase tax, and the cumulative tax reduction of more than 23 billion yuan from June -August was over 23 billion yuan. Experts said that this shows that policy measures have played a positive role in promoting consumption.

In the first 8 months, the expenditure of key areas such as people's livelihood was effectively guaranteed

In addition, in the first eight months of this year, the general public budget expenditure across the country has maintained a growth trend, and expenditures such as people's livelihood and other key areas have been effectively guaranteed.

Data show that from January to August, the general public budget expenditure across the country was 16517.7 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 6.3%. Among them, social security and employment, education, sanitary, health, agriculture, forestry and water have maintained a stable growth trend. Like transportation and science and technology, expenditure growth is relatively obvious, and science and technology increased by 20.6%year -on -year.
