From January to August this year, Guangdong's foreign trade exports increased by 4.9%

According to the statistics of the Customs Department of the Customs, from January to August this year, the import and export of Guangdong's foreign trade was 5.27 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.6%. Among them, exports were 3.34 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; imports were 1.93 trillion yuan, a decrease of 6.1%.

General trade has increased rapidly. From January to August, the general trade and exports of Guangdong were 2.87 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.1%, 3.5 percentage points faster than the overall import and export of Guangdong, accounting for 54.4%of the total value of Guangdong's import and export; Logistics increased by 3.1%, accounting for 16.2%.

Private enterprises account for more than half. From January to August, the import and export of Guangdong state-owned enterprises increased by 16%, accounting for 6%; private enterprises decreased by 0.7%, accounting for 56.2%; foreign-invested enterprises increased by 0.6%, accounting for 37.6%.

Double -digit growth to Europe and the United States. From January to August, Guangdong's imports and exports to ASEAN were 830.28 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8%; imports and exports to the United States, the European Union and Taiwan increased by 12.5%, 10%, and 2.9%respectively;

Exporting new energy vehicles and lithium -ion batteries increased rapidly. From January to August, Guangdong exported electric carrier vehicles increased by 1.8 times, and lithium-ion batteries increased by 51.3%. In addition, the exports of other major electromechanical products have increased. For example, electricity equipment increased by 20.1%, automatic data processing equipment and its parts increased by 13.6%, and mobile phones increased by 1.5%. During the same period, Guangdong exported labor -intensive products increased by 3.3%. Among them, shoes, boots, bags, and toys increased by 19.4%, 17.8%, and 14.2%, respectively.

Agricultural products, crude oil, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and other important lives and production products have increased. From January to August, Guangdong's imported agricultural products increased by 11%, of which the import volume of grain and aquatic products increased by 9.3%and 16.1%, respectively; imported crude oil increased by 25.4%. During the same period, imported semiconductor manufacturing equipment was 12.79 billion yuan, an increase of 33.6%, and automatic data processing equipment and its parts increased by 1.8%.
