Xi Meishu settled roots in Guang'an

Xi Mei is not plum, but a plum -Europe. Xi Mei is native to West and Europe. The fruits are rounded, the peel is yellow to purple, and the flesh is generally yellow. Fresh food, delicate and sweet taste, rich juice, sweet and delicate flesh, sold 20-30 yuan/jin in the market. West plum fruits can also make sugar, honey, jam, fruit wine, and dried plums.

In 1885, the earliest introduction of Ximei cultivation in Shandong Yantai, my country, but no commercial planting. For a long time, all the Xi Mei on the fruit market in my country was imported from Chile and other countries. Four or five years ago, Xinjiang was successful, and domestic Xi ​​Mei gradually appeared.

Guang'an's Longan Pomelo, Honey Pear and other fruits are well -known. Is the climate and soil suitable for growing Simi? Guang'an invited experts from Southwest University to investigate and conduct trial species. The effect of trying is very good. In 2020, Guang'an invested 15 million yuan to build a demonstration base for Pengjia Grain Economic Cooperation. The base covers an area of ​​more than 1,000 acres. It plants more than 80,000 west plum trees and plant soybeans and rapeseed under the Western plum tree. "Western plum trees plant soybeans and rapeseed, which can cultivate fertilizer and no grass, and also increase the income." Deng Weigan said.

At present, 80,000 Ximei tree has taken root in Guang'an, and its growth is very good.

800,000 kg of Guang'an Ximei will be available next year

Deng Weigan introduced that Guang'an Western Meishu is expected to hang fruit in April 2023, and from September to October, it enters mature picking period. "Earlier production at the beginning of next year is 800,000 kg. In 2024, the output period will reach 2 million kg."

In order to prevent diseases and insect pests and improve the quality of domestic Ximei, Guang'an cooperated with Southwest University to build a demonstration base of about 20 acres of production, research and development, teaching, and scientific research, extending the industrial chain, and increasing product added value. Guang'an also plans to build a fruit collection center with functions such as freezing greenhouses and functions of freezing, refrigeration, and transportation.

It is reported that Ximei of Pengjiaxiang Modern Agricultural Park is the first large -scale planting in Sichuan, and the park is currently the largest Xi Mei planting base in Sichuan. After the listing of Guang'an Ximei, it will greatly increase the market share of domestic Xi ​​Mei.
