It is reported that the Mingyou Tea Intelligent Picking Robot Project was launched in February this year. It was cooperated with Lanshan Provincial Agricultural High Zone and Shanghai Tenghao View Technology Co., Ltd. to set up an artificial intelligence and robotic workstation in Lanshan to conduct research and development tests. The project has carried out intelligent research and development in combination with the current bottlenecks of high -quality tea picking in the tea industry, with high labor costs and low benefits. After the research and development, it can realize the functions of the robot's high -speed accurate identification and picking of tea buds, and unmanned walking, automatic banking and other functions.

As of April this year, the tea picking test of the first generation of tea -picking robots has been completed. At present, it is accelerating the research and development test of each component of the second -generation prototype. It is planned to complete the robot picking machine verification after the second -generation prototype assembly is completed in September. The project plans to realize the commercialization of tea -picking robots in the second half of 2023, and use this as an opportunity to radiate the country and carry out the deep application of artificial intelligence robots in the agricultural industry.

Since the beginning of this year, Lanshan District has vigorously implemented scientific and technological innovation. In response to the bottleneck issues that restrict the upgrading and development of the tea industry in the area, strengthen the attracting and incubation of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and cultivate new industrial models.
