The number of cities in the country increased. The number of newly added number is second only to Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. Xiangyang and Yichang were shortlisted for 30 and 24 respectively. Enshi achieved "zero" and 6 companies were selected.

Specialized new enterprises refer to enterprises with the characteristics of "four -way" characteristics with "professionalism, refinement, characteristics, and novelty", while the specialized new "little giant" enterprise is one of the best. The national "little giant" enterprise is more golden. In recent years, in the cultivation of new "little giants" at national specialized specialties, Hubei has been leading from backward to catching up to the Central China. Among the first two batches, a total of 51 companies in our province entered the list. In 2021, there were 121 new national "little giants", far exceeding the sum of the previous two batches.

The 12th Party Congress of the Provincial Party proposed that Hubei builds a manufacturing highland, implements high -quality enterprise cultivation projects, and cultivates new "little giants", single championships, and industrial chain leading enterprises. The relevant person in charge of the Hubei Provincial Department of Economic and Information Technology believes that the national "little giant" of Hubei has achieved historic breakthroughs, indicating that Hubei ’s industrial innovation capabilities and manufacturing strength have improved new improvements.

From the province, nearly 40 % of the "little giant" enterprises in Hubei are concentrated in Wuhan. The number of "little giants" enterprises reached 871. Xiangyang and Yichang ranked second and third with 191 and 187 positions, respectively.

Among the national "little giants", Wuhan ranked first with 207, and Yichang and Xiangyang followed 52 and 46. If the urban agglomeration is based, the national key, national, and provincial "little giants" of the "Xiang Shi Suisuo" urban agglomerations are 11, 76, and 385, respectively. 91, 473, the total number of provincial "little giants" of the two urban agglomerations is close to Wuhan.

From the perspective of the country, in the top 50 cities, Hubei occupied 3 seats, and Wuhan, Xiangyang, and Yichang were on the list. Among them, Wuhan broke into the top ten for the first time, ranking ranked seventh and central in the country after Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Chongqing, and Hangzhou.

As of April this year, a total of 116 national "little giant" companies in our province have received 58 million yuan in provincial financial award funds, and 47 national specialized new "little giants" enterprises have obtained a special development of small and medium -sized enterprises in the central government 118.36 million yuan support.
