General trade methods have grown rapidly. From January to August, Hubei Province imported and exported 311.38 billion yuan in general trade, an increase of 26.1%, accounting for 75.2%of the province's total foreign trade value (the same below). Among them, exports were 216.54 billion yuan, an increase of 34.2%; imports were 94.84 billion yuan, an increase of 10.9%. During the same period, 48.24 billion yuan was imported and exported by processing trade, an increase of 10.5%, accounting for 11.7%. The import and export of bonded logistics was 39.88 billion yuan, an increase of 32.8%, accounting for 9.6%.

The import and export values ​​of the top three trading partners have increased. From January to August, the top three trading partners in Hubei Province were ASEAN, the European Union, and the United States. The bilateral trade values ​​were 63.09 billion, 50.56 billion, and 48.44 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 38%, 15%, and 5.5%, respectively. In the same period, Hubei Province's 14 other member states for RCEP total imports and exports of 123.78 billion yuan, an increase of 22.3%, accounting for 29.9%of the total import and export value of the province during the same period. The growth rate of private enterprises is higher than the overall and the proportion is increased. From January to August, the import and export of private enterprises in Hubei Province was 258.61 billion yuan, an increase of 32.8%. Among them, the imported integrated circuit was 26.13 billion yuan, an increase of 17.5%. In addition, the imported iron ore sand and its concentrates were 10.319 million tons, an increase of 91.8%; imported copper ore sand and its concentrates were 638,000 tons, an increase of 21.1%; imported crude oil was 1.043 million tons, an increase of 28.9%.
