On September 7, the National Federation of Industry and Commerce released the top 500 Chinese private enterprises. A total of 107 companies in Zhejiang were shortlisted, an increase of 11 from last year, and the number of selected selected ranked first in the country for 24 consecutive years.

A total of 5 Zhejiang companies entered the top 20 of the list. Among them, Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Rongsheng Holdings Group Co., Ltd. ranked among the top ten.

The total revenue of Zhejiang's finalists this year was 7.9 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.6 trillion yuan from the previous year, and became the "double material champion" for the number of enterprises and total revenue. Among the 107 companies, there are 18 revenue of 100 billion or higher, and 45 with revenue of 30 billion yuan to 50 billion yuan, an increase of 4 or 14 respectively compared with last year.

In the context of the total assets of the Fortune 500 companies declined by 17.92%and net profit after tax fell by 12.28%, the finalists of our province have maintained a strong investment efficiency and profitability. The highest value in the past five years; net asset yields and total assets' net interest rates were 15.16%and 7.04%, respectively, which was significantly recovered from 2020.

While the performance of business performance has been greatly improved, the industrial structure is continuously optimized and the development momentum is stronger. Among the 107 shortlisted companies, the manufacturing leadership situation is even more prominent, 65 on the list, an increase of 9 from last year. The total research and development expenses of the top 20 companies in R & D and investment were 152.508 billion yuan, an increase of 34.26%over last year.
