Foreword: Two issues of thought -provoking questions
I want to talk about two questions first, this is what I experienced. The first one I want to talk about the global view of home. I led some entrepreneurs and charitables to study in the world. I went to the world to ask the world with a little Chinese culture and tradition. People asked me what to focus on? I said I want to see family inheritance. They will ask me:
Which family inheritance in the world has exceeded 2000 years?
Until now, the family is still prosperous. I thought for a long time and said no. Later, they said that in fact, foreign and the world were watching. There was a family, which was the Kong family. This family is not much money, but it has been inherited for 2000. This family has been prosperous. why? In fact, it is cultivation and virtue. This is very important. No family is inherited by wealth. So if you want to inherit, study why the Confucius family can inherit 2000 years?
I was surprised at the time, and I and President Zhou (Zhou Jiaru) were almost the same era. We are a generation who has been criticized by family culture. We said that this home, our concept (washing the brain) is eating people. This family ethics is eating people. We have criticized for decades, called the feudal family culture tradition. We said that this set of law ethics is very backward and foolish. But their families, especially capitalist countries, surprised me at home. In fact, he knew that his home was respectful. Therefore, we need to think further and study some more bottom -level issues.
The second question is the issue of Harvard's classroom discussion. I have a good friend, in fact, you may also know that Yang Peng in the industry. He has been a visiting scholar in Harvard for two years. I go to Harvard every year. At that time, I had to go several times a year and then take everyone to learn. He told me a story that was shocked in Harvard. What am I said to be shocking? He said: At this age, we have almost booked the ethics of family patriarchal ethics, loyalty and filial piety, and it is stinky. We criticized this at the time. He said that one day there was a scholar seminar, specifically invited him, saying that he hoped that he had research on Chinese culture, and said that he hoped that he was listening to it. It was a study of traditional Chinese culture. He said he wanted to listen to him. He felt that he was talked about loyalty and filial piety, and he was not interested. Later, they repeatedly invited him. He went. In the classroom, it was Professor Habber and asked a question:
What is the difference between people and animals?
Everyone knows that the difference between people and animals is social. It is said that people are social and animals have no social. But animals also have sociality. People live, lions, monkeys, many of them are living and social. Where is the difference? It is said that human beings have love, and the old animals are small animals. This mother's love is not weaker than humans. For example, this love, you go to see the tiger, the tiger poison does not eat the son, the little tiger is contained in the mouth, the love is not weaker than humans.
But he (Professor Harbid) said, have you thought about it? The most fundamental difference between humans and animals is not the upper and lower love, but the filial piety. Which animal is old, relying on small animals to feed him and go to pension animals? You may find (individual), but there is no animal as a whole. Taking the tiger as an example, the mother tiger raised the little tiger. The first response of the little tiger was to bite his mother away and said, "I'm big, you roll out for me, can't bite me, leave, passersby. He believes that "what is the difference between humans and animals" is actually the bottom -up, to feed and filial piety.
So when the aging society is coming, when the entire human beings enter the age of seventh or eighty years old, and even when they are 100 years old, the young man is very important for the filial piety of the previous generation and children to parents. He (Professor Habard) said: But there is a nation with filial piety, and they have pursued filial piety for more than 2,000 years. He has prepared for more than 2,000 years for us all human beings, which proves that it is effective. This nation is China.
At that time, after Yang Peng finished telling me, he said that he was stupid when he heard it. It was said that the original Chinese civilization was like this. This is one of the fundamental signs of the difference between humans and animals. Maybe it is one of the most important signs. After I heard it, I was also very emotional.
Everyone knows that we have been washed the brain, and we are also very painful, because we firmly believe that the creed is like an iceberg. We rethinked at this time, and we did not think of what we didn't expect now. At that time, we thought that many problems were considered correct. At noon, I told President Zhou that when I said Ding Bing, I was actually very ashamed. Ding Bing in the charity industry, many of us did not know, and I didn't know. What I am asking about is that some of our generations do not know, and some values that have the essence of the Chinese nation, how much do you know? How many critical criticisms are used to use it as garbage? I and the Kenny Government College of Harvard University. 1. The goodness of the family is the foundation of Chinese civilization
Home is not a simple home. A lot of our cultivation is actually carried out around home. We Chinese are so good that they are good at cultivation, to the highest standards, and the best.

Westerners, nations are the country, home is home, Family is Family, national is nation, country is country, not in charge. But we are one by one. So we need to understand the charity of the family. I think we must realize that the goodness of the family is the foundation of Chinese civilization.
What kind of unique character is there in China's charity? I summarize it as four aspects:
The first is the ethics of filial piety
The ethics of filial piety is very simple. In fact, everyone knows that the current Chinese and Western cultural conflicts, or if you don't understand, you can't think of it. Now you find out that the ethics of filial piety is actually the behavior of our nation. The way is very important.
To what point is it? It turned out that there was an institution in the UK who evaluated the world's charity, and it is now released every year. As soon as it is released, China has always been rated as the first or second. We also followed us on the Internet. Everyone shouted, and I also shouted, saying that this Chinese charity is much worse than others. However, I thought about it. His evaluation criteria are you to save strangers? Have you rescued strangers once in the past two months? I think we have very little opportunities to save strangers. So your level is very low, and foreign people often save strangers.
I later thought that the ethics of filial piety was not simple. In fact, it caused a acquaintance society and caused the entire interpersonal relationship. It was a community of fate connected to each other. So brothers and sisters are united with each other. The core of solidarity is the equivalent property. In the UK, everyone knows that the eldest son in the UK is the heir, and the second child and the other children leave. When the father is inherited, the inheritance will be given to the boss. Others go, nothing, isn't it a stranger? Their brothers are strangers, their families are strangers, and they do not have any obligation. Do we dare not be burdened? Can we agree to our entire ethics? But what is the basis? Based on the ethics of filial piety. It is said that when we encounter many contradictions, the old lady can come out for conditioning, and neighbors can adjust.
The second is the virtue of the heir family
Reading, farming, and love. Our national character is not to let you enjoy it, and labor is not very shameful in our culture. The "family charity" passed down from the heir family contains the hard work of this nation.
The third is the spirit of scholars' world.
The spirit of scholars' world is the public, that is, everyone can be responsible for the world.
The fourth is the public character unique to Confucian merchants
When talking about the market economy, we must know (this). Our market, our business, and our entrepreneur, is that our business civilization and Western commercial civilization are different. Do not make trouble under a market economy conditions. Let me give a very simple example. Western parts have property rights and intellectual property rights. In China, how many people do you have the concept of intellectual property rights? A warrior of a peacekeeper ran to Africa to teach others to plant vegetables. Has Western colonists planted? No, our veterans teach others, for fear of teaching. The shared character produced in his bones and character. 2. Common wealth and family charity are on the table
Common wealthy and home charity, each other. Common wealth, I think it originated from the ancient Chinese civilization.
First of all, the home -oriented self -cultivated farmers' economy is actually a strong co -rich character.
Isn't it just a small farmer economy? Isn't it the agricultural society? In the industrial society, this has to decline. But can it actually decline? Everyone thinks about it. From the Zhou Dynasty, we mentioned that we have such a tradition, called Jingtian system, both public fields and private fields. At that time, there was a public private (tradition). This kind of powerful is the rich character. This kind of hardworking and rich tradition and the structure of the economy and society, it excludes polarization.
Secondly, common prosperity requires the support of family charity.
Family harmony and stability can promote economic prosperity. Because of the support of this kind of home charity, China also helps each other. The neighborhood mutual aid rises again is difficult for one party to support. This is the feeling of community spirit and home and country. Some people may say that this is nothing. Isn't it all in the West?
I tell you the story I experienced in person, there is really no West. The 3111 earthquake in Japan occurred. I left the government's job. I have a disaster relief arrangement in the Wenchuan earthquake. I asked me to work in the disaster area for more than a week. He (Japanese officials) resumed rebuilding a year later. The eight characters have not been skimmed. It is 12 years now, and it has not been completed yet. We were completed in two years (the Wenchuan earthquake was rebuilt), and Zhejiang's counterpart was Qingchuan at that time. Because I came directly to the trading and arranged this matter.
After I went (Japan), I talked to others and said that I was studying Japan. Our disaster relief system has a lot of Japan, and Japan's disaster relief equipment is better than us. It seems that all aspects of mechanism are better than us. We study the United States (Japan). I think we can learn people well and build our national disaster reduction committee system. I asked the people, how long do you see the government officials after the victims? They told me that I was surprised for two weeks. How much (time) do we stipulate? 24 hours. I said, when will it pass hydropower? He said that after 40 days, after I heard it, I gave them an idea and said that you have to make a province's experience in one county. Our Wenchuan earthquake is like this. Our Red Cross, you have 39 macro -mortar villages. Can we pack a village? Build a look for you? Why do they feel like this? This is illegal. My property, why does the property in our county go there? In this bag, this parliament is going to discuss. How can I get it? Don't understand!
We are in a neighborhood to help each other, one side is difficult, and the support of the eight parties is a speaking for us. In fact, there is a deep feelings of family and country in it. No one thinks he is an outsider. Therefore, this in -depth development of family charity can form a good social foundation for charity.
Let me talk about the independent character of home charity.
In fact, home charity also has an independent character. This has been put on the national schedule, and the state has begun to advocate family charity. Family tutoring family style construction has been put on the national agenda.
Now practice has proven that more than 300 million retirees are showing a unique social service character in China, which constitutes a good economy. I call it a magnificent landscape. I asked, I don't know what Dean Zhou (Zhou Yan) is going to turn around now? I have done a project in Ningbo. In fact, I am also doing it in Beijing. Investigating the elderly over 60 years old, including 55 years old, some women who retired from 50 years old, now over 300 million. Everyone knows the inheritance of this culture. This is the only landscape in the world. The elderly in Japan, Europe, and the United States cannot do this. If you think about it, these 300 million are actually our family service army. The professional spirit of the service is very strong, getting up early, and the work is more rigorous than going to work, because the grandchildren go to kindergarten and pick up and drop off from school, which is much more serious than you go to work. What do you see? This is a very great family charity of family spirit, which melted in each of us's blood.

What do you do if you just do a charity spirit? How to develop and common prosperity with Chinese characteristics?
What is a unique issue of common wealth in China? I think it is, how should I closely combine family charity with common prosperity? I think Zhejiang has this condition. You three (Zhejiang Derun Public Welfare Foundation, ideal village, Shenghe and Zhejiang) union this morning, I think it is particularly innovative. There are many ideas that can do this.
