Ministry of Commerce: In the first 7 months, my country accounted for 52% of emerging market exports

The spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Shu Jingsing, introduced at the meeting that since this year, my country's exports have shown strong development toughness. From January to July, the export was 13.37 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.7%. The exports of major trading partners have maintained an increase of 19.7%, 15.1%, and 19.1%of exports to the European Union, the United States, and ASEAN, respectively; exports of countries and BRICS countries along the “Belt and Road” increased by 19.8%and 24.8%, respectively. The export market has become more diversified. In the first 7 months, my country accounted for 52%of emerging market exports, an increase of 2.5 percentage points from last year. At the same time, we also noticed that the global epidemic has continued to evolve, the uncertainty of the world economic recovery has increased, the prospects for growth in major economies are not optimistic, the willingness to consume is insufficient, the expansion of foreign demand has slowed, and the difficulty of obtaining orders for foreign trade enterprises.

Shu Jingsing said that in the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will continue to implement the market diversified actions, give full play to the role platform of the trade group and other mechanism groups, and use the free trade agreement to be signed by the commercial, and continue to give full play to the Canton Fair, Expo, Service, and Service. The role of major exhibition platforms such as the trade association, the festival, and the Clearance Expo will guide enterprises to consolidate traditional markets and open up emerging markets.
