Liang Zhifeng, director of the SME Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced the development of small and medium -sized enterprises in my country in the past ten years.

Liang Zhifeng said that over the past ten years, my country's policy system and service system for promoting SMEs have been continuously improved, the development environment has been continuously optimized, and small and medium -sized enterprises have made fast and good development trends, and have made important contributions to the overall economic and social development.

As of the end of 2021, the number of small and medium -sized enterprises in the country reached 48 million, an increase of 2.7 times over the end of 2012; the number of enterprises per 1,000 people in my country was 34.28, which was 3.4 times the end of 2012; It was 3.6 times in 2012.

In 2021, the average operating income profit margin of small and medium -sized enterprises above designated size in my country was 6.2%, 0.9 percentage points higher than the end of 2012, and the development of quality and efficiency continued to improve.

Liang Zhifeng said that a large number of new technologies, new industries, new formats, and new models originated from small and medium -sized enterprises. In 2021, there were 3.838 million new enterprises in my country's "four new economies", accounting for 42.5%of the total number of new enterprises. At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has focused on building a gradient cultivation system for high -quality SMEs. At present, more than 40,000 provincial -level specialized new enterprises have been cultivated, 4762 companies of national specialized new "little giants" enterprises, 848 single champion companies in manufacturing, one The batch of small and medium -sized enterprises has become the "singles champion" and "supporting experts" in the segmented field.

The fourth national economic census shows that the legal entities of small and medium -sized enterprises in my country accounted for 99.8%of the legal person units of all -scale enterprise, and employment accounted for 79.4%of the employment of all enterprises, 77.1%of assets, and 68.2%of operating income.

Studies of the National Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that SMEs and regional economic growth are highly positive, with correlation coefficients exceeding 0.8, and areas where small and medium -sized enterprises are developing active are exactly the hottest areas of economic development and career selection.
