This is the Changting County of Fujian Province. After more than 30 years, when I came here, I found that Changting's forest coverage rate was as high as 80%. For decades, how did people do from "Flame Mountain" to "Golden Yin Mountain"?

From Heada to cultivated land, return to the control of soil and water

In order to understand the previous agricultural production status of Changting, I found some locals to learn about some situations, and also visited Fu Muqing, a large grain planner here.

People used the "three days of sun -to -day cracked fields, a flood and yellow mud field" to describe the field environment of Changting. The land is not fertile and there are fewer people.

Fu Muqing: We used to be Heada. Why is it so? Because Hetian is higher, the water will rush out when it rains, and all the yellow mud water will be in the field. So the soil is very thin, all gravel, and the soil is not good.

In order to control the soil and soil, the Changting people made a lot of efforts. They changed the old habit of cutting firewood on the mountain, from promoting "sealing mountains" to "forest power reform", contracting mountain forests, planting trees and grass, water preservation and soil, and greening and greenery. Water and soil governance gradually enters a virtuous cycle.

At present, Changting County has 419,000 mu of cultivated land. Fu Muqing contracted 6,000 acres of fields alone.

The locals told me that after many years of exploration, Chang Ting formed a "post -tobacco rice", that is, the characteristic agricultural model of planting rice after the harvest of tobacco was harvested.

By increasing income from planting tobacco, after the rice is harvested, it can be enhanced by the vitality of the soil, and the soil quality will be further improved.

It is not simple to solidify soil, technology is the key

Return to the field is not a job that happened overnight. Prior to this, the soil of the barren mountains has experienced many obstacles. I want to understand the stories of these "wastelanders", so I decided to go to Ma Xuemei.

Ma Xuemei is 59 years old. In 1999, in order to control the loss of soil and soil, the local government provided policy support and encouraged people to contradict the mountains. Ma Xuemei felt that planting and breeding was a good opportunity. So she sold restaurants operating with her husband. It included 1,000 acres of deserted mountains here.

Ma Xuemei: I asked the small worker to come to the mountain at that time. They said that it was not that we would not help you. You have salary for us and we have no opinion. It is impossible to grow things. You are a little wasteful here. Now we are in their 30s. Can we eat the chestnuts you planted when we turn?

Ma Xuemei was unconvinced, and she wanted to plant the tree. According to the guidance of the technical staff, she fertilized, ditch, and plant trees. I also paid for my own pockets, buying fertilizers to improve the soil, each time exceeded the requirements of experts, and fertilized more. When everything was done, she began to look forward to the coming year.

However, a spring rain in the second year made Ma Xuemei's expectations. As soon as the rain rushed to the water, the mud was poured, and the water flowed down with the mud, getting bigger and bigger. When the bottom of the mountain was like the waterfall, the tree was swept away with all the trees and rushed to the downstream field. Ma Xuemei was dumbfounded.

Later, it was a project project carried out by Huang Yan and Professor of Fujian University of Agriculture and Forestry, Baixi Cao solidified soil to rescue Ma Xuemei's tree. At that time, she had tried too many ways, and she didn't have any hope, but just spilled into the grass species with a try mentality. I did not expect that the more the grass, the better, and gradually growing into a piece. Can keep half of the saplings, Ma Xuemei was planted in the place in the air, and actually fixed the soil.

Ma Xuemei: In the 5th and 6th years, the fruit began to hang. At that time, I sat on the top of the mountain in the evening. The trees were row in rows, and the fruit hanging the branches was bent. There is no longer a long place, and now the fruit tree has grown and has a sense of accomplishment.

Ma Xuemei's success is a microcosm of people's efforts. Here, I also visited the bayberry "planting king" of the bayberry "planting king" in the mountains and planting trees on the mountain. The large water and soil loss land in Changting County was governed, and the area of ​​water loss was 1.152 million mu.
