Shengli Jiyang Rock Oil National Demonstration Zone Starting Construction

It is estimated that at the end of the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan", the demonstration area will achieve shale oil proven geological reserves of 100 million tons, new production capacity of 1 million tons, and annual output shale oil equivalent of 500,000 tons.

The National Demonstration Zone of Shengli Jiyang Rock Oil is approved by the National Energy Administration. It is the third national shale oil demonstration zone in my country after Xinjiang Jimusal and Daqing Gulong. Six demonstration results of technology and green development have led my country to break the high -quality development of shale oil in the basin of China.

Zhang Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the National Energy Administration, said that from the overall situation of my country's oil and gas resources, shale oil is a strategic replacement resource, and during the "14th Five -Year Plan" period, it will become an important support for crude oil. It is necessary to lead the exploration breakthrough with geological theory innovation, promote cost reduction and efficiency with technological progress, effectively promote shale oil as the main task of production of oil and gas storage, and push shale oil exploration and development to a new level.
