Shandong Laiyang: Strengthen online training to help companies take RCEP "Express"

From June 15th to 17th, Laiyang City Organized Foreign Trade Enterprises participated in the 4th National "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) series of special training classes organized by the Ministry of Commerce. This training was conducted online. Yujia foreign trade enterprises participated in training through online.

In recent years, Laiyang City has a good foundation for economic and trade cooperation in RCEP member states such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and the import and export value of RCEP countries accounts for more than 80%of the city's total. Since the effective implementation of the RCEP agreement, Laiyang City seized new opportunities for RCEP to take effect, took the initiative to integrate into the major national strategy, accelerated the opening of higher levels, and adopted a series of policies and measures such as visits, guidance, and training to promote the effectiveness of RCEP.

The response of online training is enthusiastic, and the number of online participants has reached more than 100 people. In response to problems such as unfamiliarity, use, and inadequate use, etc., the training experts are particularly incorporated into the selection of RCEP and other free trade agreements in my country on the basis of in -depth interpretation of the rules and market access commitments of RCEP. Course such as the rules of origin, challenges and suggestions of key industries, and responding to suggestions, etc., setting up the application of trade relief measures, reminders of trade investment risk, and response to proposals, and comprehensive application plan for free trade agreement. The training is conducted in the form of special lectures. The Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the Relevant Industry Federation, and Chamber of Commerce are invited to teach the lectures on online live broadcast. It is of great significance to organize the RCEP policy training. It will further improve the quality and level of the development of foreign trade enterprises in the city, and help enterprises use the RCEP agreement to make good use of, use enough, and use the actual RCEP agreement.
