Shanghai's import and export value in July exceeded 400 billion yuan, a record high of RMB for a single month

The reporter learned from the Shanghai Customs on August 18 that in July this year, Shanghai's import and export hit a single month with a record high with a single month, exceeding 400 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 404.22 billion yuan.

In July, the exports and imports of Shanghai increased by 32.9%and 16.4%over the same period last year. In terms of exports, the export volume of automatic data processing equipment and its parts in July was 23.13 billion yuan, an increase of 52.8%year -on -year, accounting for 13.2%of the total exports of Shanghai, driving the city's export increase of 6.1 percentage points to play a pillar role. Among them, the export volume of the laptop was 15.23 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 106.5%; the value of mobile phone exports was 4.63 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 13.4%.

In July, the export volume of Shanghai labor -intensive products also increased significantly, and the export volume of 22.34 billion yuan increased by 36.4%year -on -year. Among them, the exports of clothing, textiles and plastic products increased by 46.7%, 15.5%, and 42.8%year -on -year, respectively.

In the field of import, the production situation in Shanghai's key industries has been transferred to drive the import of related raw materials and components. High -end consumer goods are led by running. In July, the import volume of consumer goods in Shanghai was 49.95 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 12.3%, driving the city's imports of 2.8 percentage points, which was the first time since March this year.
