From January to July this year, Shaanxi Province's foreign trade imports and exports were 278.75 billion yuan

According to statistics from Xi'an Customs, the total value of import and export trade in Shaanxi Province from January to July 2022 was 278.75 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1%over the same period last year (the same below). Among them, exports were 171.72 billion yuan, an increase of 26.2%; imports were 107.03 billion yuan, a decrease of 17.1%, and the trade surplus of 64.69 billion yuan in the same period.

From January to July this year, the general trade import and export of Shaanxi Province increased by 30 %, an increase in proportion. The total value of the processing trade import and export was 1520.08 billion yuan, an increase of 13%, accounting for 54.6%of the total import and export value of the province; the general trade import and export of 95.02 billion yuan, an increase of 30.1%, accounting for 34.1%of the province's total value of imports and exports, a year -on -year increase increase 6.5 percentage points; the total value of import and export of bonded logistics was 25.22 billion yuan, a decrease of 28%, accounting for 9%of the province's total import and export value.

Shaanxi Province's imports and exports to other countries accounted for nearly 40 % of the import and export of RCEP (regional comprehensive economic partnership). The import and export of South Korea was 56.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.2%, accounting for 20.2%of the province's total import and export value; 36.7 billion yuan for the European Union, an increase of 15%, accounting for 13.2%; 11.7%; 14.7 billion yuan in Japan, a decrease of 19.2%, accounting for 5.3%. During the same period, Shaanxi Province's imports and exports to countries along the “Belt and Road” were 55.75 billion yuan, an increase of 28.2%, accounting for 20%of the total import and export value of the province; the import and export of other countries in RCEP was 109.5 billion yuan, an increase of 4%, accounting for the province's entry 39.3%of the total export value.

Among the trading subjects, the import and export of private enterprises have grown rapidly. From January to July, 3877 foreign trade companies with import and export performance in Shaanxi Province increased by 8.5%year-on-year. The import and export of foreign -invested enterprises was 16.197 billion yuan, an increase of 1.1%, accounting for 58.1%of the total value of the province, of which 100.94 billion yuan was exported, an increase of 30.8%, and imports of 61.03 billion yuan, a decrease of 26.5%; the import and export of private enterprises were 98.49 billion yuan , Increased by 17.8%, accounting for 35.3%, of which 63.06 billion yuan was exported, an increase of 25.6%, and imports were 35.43 billion yuan, an increase of 6%; the import and export of state -owned enterprises was 17.86 billion yuan, a decrease of 14.1%, accounting for 6.4%.

The main products of import and export are electromechanical products. The export of electromechanical products was 153.64 billion yuan, an increase of 25%, accounting for 89.5%of the province's total export value. Other major export products include 2.4 billion yuan in agricultural products, an increase of 28%; the basic organic chemical products were 1.31 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9%; the textile yarn and products were 1.19 billion yuan, a decrease of 12.8%.

The import of electromechanical products was 64.33 billion yuan, accounting for 60.1%of the province's total import value. Other major imported products include 45.84 million tons of iron ore, 4.221 million tons of coal and lignite, 672,000 tons of soybeans, 165,000 tons of crude oil, non -forged copper and 175,000 tons of copper.
