As soon as the staff on board board the ship, they should start to be familiar with the ship's situation and their respective responsibilities, and this work must be completed before the ship navigation.

Captain Pik Ki Ki Yung pointed out that the ISM rules require all crew to be familiar with the ship before sailing.

ISM Rules 6.3: The company should establish procedures to ensure that new employment and transfer personnel involved in safety and environmental protection are appropriately familiar with their responsibilities. Anyone who needs to be made before sailing shall be indicated and issued in the form of documents.
