Jilin Petrochemical Company released the news on the 12th that the company's first batch of DMA products have all reached the Liaoning Boyfish Circle Port, which marks an important step in Jilin, the province of China ’s old industrial bases to develop a new fuel oil market.

Fuel oil is a type of refined oil. According to the quality indicators such as density and hexisane value, it is divided into four types: DMX, DMA, DMZ, and DMB. Since 2020, global ship's fuel sulfur content has been reduced from 3.5%to 0.5%, and DMA is an important low -sulfur product. For Chinese refining enterprises, this is a brand new blue ocean market.

Jilin Petrochemical Corporation is the "New Son of New China Chemical". It is the first large -scale chemical industrial base built during the "Five -Year Plan" period. It is located in Jilin City, a "Chemical City" in China. At present, Jilin Petrochemical Corporation has achieved more than 800 scientific research results, and it is also the first manufacturer of DMA products in Jilin Province.

As of the end of July this year, Jilin Province has issued a total of 21,500 tons of DMA products. Zhang Jun, manager of the Ministry of Railway Transportation (Logistics Company) of Jilin Petrochemical Company, introduced that the first tanker car carrying DMA fuel oil was launched on July 16th. The current delivery products have been "assembled" in the Port of the Muiyu Circle and will be shipped to ports across the country.

According to industry insiders, China is the largest fuel oil consumer market in Asia and an important importer in the world. In recent years, the consumption structure of China's domestic fuel oil market has changed, the market share of ship oil has grown rapidly, and Jilin, a large chemical province, will inject positive elements into the market.

The successful "going to the sea" in Jilin's DMA products also means that the province has opened up the first transportation channel. It is understood that Jilin Petrochemical Company actively communicated with relevant Hong Kong affairs departments and oil sales enterprises, and successfully won the DMA fuel oil quota to quickly open up the process of sales, transportation, ports, settlement, and other processes.
