On the 10th, the reporter learned from Xiamen Customs that from January to July this year, the import and export of foreign trade in Xiamen City was 524.01 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 6.5%; of which imports were 255.74 billion yuan, an increase of 0.1%, and exports were 268.27 billion yuan, an increase of 13.5%. In July, Xiamen's foreign trade imports and exports were 79.32 billion yuan; of which imports were 37.07 billion yuan, exports of 42.25 billion yuan, an increase of 12.6%, and exports maintained double -digit growth for three consecutive months.

Data show that private enterprises are the largest main body of foreign trade. From January to July, the import and export of private enterprises in Xiamen City 20177 billion yuan, an increase of 12.2%, accounting for 38.5%of the total foreign trade value of Xiamen; during the same period, the import and export of state -owned enterprises was 185.8 billion yuan, an increase of 11.3%; 100 million yuan, a decrease of 6%.

Exports are mainly electromechanical products and labor -intensive products. From January to July, Xiamen's export mechanical and electrical products were 114.58 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4%, accounting for 42.7%of the total foreign trade export value of Xiamen City; 77.65 billion yuan of labor -intensive products such as export textiles and clothing, an increase of 18.3%, accounting for 18.3%, accounting for accounting 28.9%.

The import of electromechanical products and agricultural products is mainly. From January to July, Xiamen ’s imported electromechanical products were 50.92 billion yuan, a decrease of 6%, accounting for 19.9%of the total value of Xiamen’ s foreign trade imports; imported agricultural products were 47.84 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%, accounting for 18.7%.

ASEAN, the United States and the European Union are the top three trading partners. From January to July, Xiamen's imports and exports to ASEAN, the United States, and the European Union were 97.97 billion yuan, 77.05 billion yuan, and 60.8 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 12.6%, 19.1%, and 13.1%, respectively. In addition, the import and export of the countries along the “Belt and Road” was 177.69 billion yuan, an increase of 13.8%.

In July, the trend of rising imports and exports in our city further stabilized, laying a solid foundation for the overall foreign trade stability and quality. In the next stage, Xiamen Customs will pay close attention to the implementation of various policies and measures to help enterprises, and promotes the city's foreign trade and stability.
