On August 11, the reporter learned from the Sichuan Investigation Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics that in July 2022, consumer prices in Sichuan residents rose 3.1%year -on -year, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, cities rose 3.1%, rural areas rose 3.0%; food prices rose 7.4%, non -food prices rose 2.1%; consumer goods prices rose 4.5%, and service prices rose 0.9%. From January to July, Sichuan residents' consumption prices rose 1.6%over last year.
From a year -on -year perspective, food and energy prices have increased significantly. Data show that the price of food tobacco and alcohol rose 5.2%, affecting the CPI (residential consumer price index) rose by about 1.51 percentage points. In food, the price of fresh vegetables rose 13.3%, affecting CPI by about 0.28 percentage points; the price of fresh fruit rose 13.2%, affecting CPI by about 0.21 percentage points; the price of livestock meat rose 13.2%, which affected CPI by about 0.47 percentage points (pork prices rose increased 26.4%, affecting CPI by about 0.44 percentage points); egg prices rose 5.1%, affecting CPI by about 0.03 percentage points; aquatic product prices fell by 4.1%, affecting CPI by about 0.05 percentage points.
The prices of the other seven categories have risen year -on -year. Among them, traffic and communication prices rose 6.7%(gasoline prices rose 24.2%), clothing prices rose 2.0%, daily necessities and service prices rose 1.4%, educational, cultural entertainment prices rose 1.3%, other supplies and service prices rose 1.3%. Rising 0.9%, the price of healthcare rose 0.5%.
