According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, in the first seven months of this year, the total import and export of Ningbo reached 750.29 billion yuan, an increase of 13.3%year -on -year. Data show that in May, the total imports and exports of Ningbo increased by 7.4%year -on -year, an increase of 7 percentage points from April; in June, Ningbo's foreign trade growth rate increased further to 13.2%; and in July, Ningbo's foreign trade growth rate reached 21.4 %.

Private enterprises have become the main force of Ningbo import and export, and the proportion has increased. In the first seven months of this year, Ningbo's private enterprises import and export 534.49 billion yuan, an increase of 14.7%year -on -year, accounting for 71.2%of the total imports and exports of the city during the same period, and the proportion increased by 0.8 percentage points year -on -year.

The EU, the United States, and ASEAN are the top three trading partners in Ningbo. In the first seven months of this year, Ningbo imports and exported 137.91 billion yuan, 135.49 billion yuan, and 84.88 billion yuan to the European Union, the United States, and ASEAN, respectively, with a year -on -year growth rate of 18.1%, 18.9%, and 20%. The three accounted for 47.8%of the total foreign trade in our city during the same period.
