General Administration of Customs: In the first 7 months, my country's total foreign trade import and export value of 23.6 trillion yuan increased by 10.4% year -on -year

The General Administration of Customs announced today (7th) that in the first seven months of this year, the total value of foreign trade imports and exports in my country was 23.6 trillion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 10.4%. Among them, exports were 13.37 trillion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 14.7%; imports were 10.23 trillion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 5.3%.

Customs statistics show that my country's foreign trade structure continued to be optimized in the first seven months, and the general trade import and export were 15.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.5%year -on -year. my country imports and exports of 3.53 trillion yuan, 3.23 trillion yuan, and 2.93 trillion yuan in China to ASEAN, the European Union, and the United States, a year -on -year increase of 13.2%, 8.9%, and 11.8%. ASEAN continues to be my country's largest trading partner, accounting for 15%of my country's total foreign trade.

According to customs statistics, in the first seven months of this year, the total imports and exports of three provinces and one cities in the Yangtze River Delta region were 8.58 trillion yuan. A year -on -year increase of 11.7%, an acceleration of 2.5 percentage points over the first half of the year.

RCEP dividends appeared 7.5% year -on -year in the first 7 months with RCEP member states

Since the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" on January 1 this year, since the effectiveness of RCEP, the "circle of friends" of RCEP member states has continued to expand, and trade dividends have continued to release. Many foreign trade enterprises have benefited from dividends such as tariffs, customs clearance, and trade investment facilitation brought by RCEP.

According to customs statistics, in the first seven months, imports and exports from countries along the “Belt and Road” increased by 19.8%year -on -year, and 14%year -on -year from RCEP's other 14 member states.

Li Kuiwen, Director of the Department of Statistics of the General Administration of Customs: In July, in July, my country imported 1.17 trillion yuan to RCEP trading partners, an increase of 18.8%year -on -year, and the overall import and export increased by 5.6 percentage points. RCEP officially implemented this year, further deepening the regional economic interconnection and trade investment cooperation, and provided new momentum for regional economic recovery and development.

In the first 7 months, the number of foreign trade enterprises with import and export performance increased by 5.8% year -on -year

According to customs statistics, the number of foreign trade enterprises with imports and exports in the first seven months, 526,000 foreign trade enterprises, an increase of 5.8%year -on -year. Among them, the import and export of private enterprises was 11.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.3%year -on -year, accounting for 50%of my country's total foreign trade value, an increase of 2.1 percentage points from the same period last year.
