Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, August 6th (Reporter Wang Yuxiao) The "China Chain Catering Industry Report 2022" recently released by the China Chain Management Association and other institutions shows that the chain rate of my country's catering industry has continued to increase. The growth rate of beverages, barbecue and snack fast food ranks in the top three, of which the chain rate of beverage stores has increased the fastest.
The report shows that in 2021, the chain rate of drinks, barbecue and snack fast food increased by 4.5, 3.9 and 3.7 percentage points, respectively. The unique retail industry characteristics of beverages make it easier to achieve standardized replication, and the cost of extended shops is relatively low. The domestic beverage store's chain rate increased from 31.5%in 2019 to 41.8%in 2021, an increase of 10.3 percentage points.
In addition, the proportion of Chinese food stores has risen steadily, and the brand chain has accelerated its development trend. The report pointed out that from the growth of the number of stores, special dishes and barbecue are categories with higher growth rates in 2021, and the number of chain stores increased by 33.2%and 27.6%year -on -year.
The report also shows that due to the family consumer demand caused by the epidemic and other factors, prefabricated dishes, such as cooking, that is, the rapid development of food, and prefabricated food cooking has become a new trend. In addition, as the consumption concepts such as catering waste and green environmental protection have become more popular, the amount of kitchen waste in typical stores has gradually declined. Nearly 80%of sample companies have stated that the amount of kitchen waste in stores has decreased compared with previous years.
At present, services such as domestic catering and other services have gradually rebounded. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the national catering revenue decreased by 4%year -on -year, and the decrease was 17.1 percentage points narrowed in May.
Wang Hongtao, executive deputy secretary -general of the China Chain Management Association, said that with the upgrading of consumption and the development of digital technology, catering has gradually entered the operating model based on new product services and new technologies. Catering companies should improve the digital management of stores, further improve the efficiency of restaurant operations, and provide consumers with a high -quality service experience, realize the innovation of products and services, and further promote the upgrading of catering consumption.
