On August 4th, the second Shanghai Coffee Cultural Week, with the theme of "Morn taste Shanghai, live up to love", officially opened.
The "2022 China Coffee Industry White Paper" released at the opening ceremony shows that the market size of the Chinese coffee industry in 2021 reached 381.7 billion yuan, an increase of 27.2%year -on -year; the market size of the Chinese coffee industry in 2025 will exceed 100 billion yuan.
Among them, Shanghai's coffee consumption amount in 2021 is more than the sum of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. At present, Shanghai ranks first in the world with the volume of nearly 8,000 cafes, becoming a veritable coffee company gathering place and the first choice for coffee entrepreneurs.
Driven by the coffee market, in 2021, my country ’s new coffee -related enterprises were 25,900, an increase of 12.5%year -on -year, and the existing coffee -related enterprises reached 159,000. The new generation of boutique coffee such as Manner, Yongzhang, Sengine Eagle Collection, M Stand, Illy Coffee and other brands are all in Shanghai.
In order to better support the growth of coffee brands, Meituan also released the "Coffee New Star Growth Plan". The plan will invest 700 million yuan within 3 years. Through the growth support plan of the new store, 3,000 coffee takeaway operators, 400 million coffee subsidies, 300 million coffee resources support, creating the first online coffee cultural district, etc. Multi -Shanghai coffee brands have gone to the whole country, allowing outstanding coffee brands with Shanghai genes to fragrant the world.
In 2021, nearly a thousand new cafes were added in Shanghai, and the ownership of each 10,000 -person cafes had reached 3.16. It is worth mentioning that Golden Arches, Ruixing Coffee, Timhortons, China Resources Pacific Coffee, Norva Coffee, Seesawcoffee, Bear Claw Coffee, Bright Dairy, Hongqiao Pinhui and Shanghai Technician Association Coffee Special Committee jointly launched "Shanghai Coffee Industry Alliance".
At the opening ceremony, the "Hongqiao International Coffee Port" licenses and Hong Kong opening ceremony were also officially held. Bank of China released the "BOC Intelligent Lian Hongqiao International Coffee Chain", which provided strong support for the development of the Shanghai coffee industry.
It is reported that, as one of the benchmarks of the 3rd Shanghai Fifth Five -Year Shopping Festival, 2022 Shanghai Coffee Culture Week focuses on creating more than 100 series such as coffee consumption discounts, coffee culture markets, coffee characteristic neighborhoods, and coffee fragrant books in Shanghai Activity.
