Yesterday, the Xiamen Sub -branch of the People's Bank of China released the financial statistics of our city in May.

Data show that at the end of May, the balance of foreign currency deposits in our city was 1535.391 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1%year -on -year. Among them, the balance of RMB deposits was 1449.148 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 7.6%, and deposits increased by 2.872 billion yuan in May; foreign currency deposits balances were US $ 12.948 billion, an increase of 11.2%year -on -year.

The growth rate of loans in our city in May reached a record high. Data show that at the end of May, the balance of foreign currency loans in our city was 1684.171 billion yuan, an increase of 16.6%year -on -year, and the growth rate was 0.4 percentage points higher than the end of the previous month, 1.6 percentage points higher than the same period last year. Among them, the balance of RMB loans was 1573.411 billion yuan, an increase of 16.4%year -on -year; foreign currency loan balances were 16.629 billion US dollars, a year -on -year increase of 13.8%.

Data show that in May, RMB loans increased by 18.974 billion yuan, an increase of 6.359 billion yuan year -on -year. From the perspective of the sub -department, household loans increased by 3.854 billion yuan, of which short -term loans increased by 1.186 billion yuan, medium and long -term loans increased by 2.668 billion yuan; enterprise (affairs) industry units loans increased by 14.805 billion yuan, of which short -term loans increased by 856 million yuan, and bill financing increased increases 14.034 billion yuan; loans of non -banking financial institutions increased by 321 million yuan.
