There are new progress in the Xiaoyang Mountain North Working Area of Yangshan Port District!This report is reviewed by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment

On July 10, 2022, the Ministry of Ecological Environment's Environmental Impact Evaluation and Eat Emissions Management Department, together with the Comprehensive Planning Department of the Ministry of Transport, hosted the "Shanghai International Shipping Center Yangshan Shenshui Port District Planning Planning Planning Plan for the Environmental Impact Report Book (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") review meeting. Ecological Environmental Environment Supervision and Administration Bureau, Environmental Engineering Evaluation Center, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Ecological Environment, Development and Reform Commission, Transportation Department, Natural Resources Department, Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration, Shanghai Ecological Environment Bureau, Development and Reforms Representatives of the Commission, the Communications Committee, the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, the Zhoushan Municipal People's Government and other relevant units and 9 special experts attended the meeting. After careful discussion after the review team, it is believed that the evaluation conclusion is generally credible. After further modification and improvement of the "Report", the "Report" can be used as the basis for the optimization and adjustment of the planning plan of the Xiaoyangshan North Operation Zone.

Zhejiang and Shanghai Cooperation and Development of Yangshan Port Area is a successful example of domestic cross -provincial administrative regional cooperation since the reform and opening up. It has made important contributions to the rapid jumping of the container throughput of Shanghai Port and reached the world for 12 consecutive years. Yangshan Port District Xiaoyangshan North Operating Area Container Jianghai Lianyun Terminal District is a new round of cooperation and development in Zhejiang CSI Yangshan Port District, and jointly promote the integrated project of the Yangtze River Delta region. Hong Kong and Airlines integrated Jianghai joint transportation services, comprehensively docking and implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative and important measures such as the national strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Delta regional integration.

According to the planning plan, Xiaoyang Mountain North Working Area planned to arrange 15 20,000 -ton container berths and 70,000 -ton container berths, and the new container passed the capacity of more than 10 million. After the project is completed, it will further improve the configuration of the Yangshan Port area, form a trend of matching and complementary advantages with the south -side trunk container terminal, and enhance the comprehensive service level of the port area, which is of great significance to the construction of the Yangtze River Delta world -class port group.
